also, join the NEW New York Scooter Email List through OneList. This list will be used to convey timely information regarding ride, social activities and (if the worst happens) info about stolen scoots all in the NY Metro Area. It will only work if you join!
On another note: some New York City Scooterist ride on Sundays, from Alice's Restaraunt on Avenue A and 2nd St. around 1pm (to eat) and try roll by 2pm, with the earlier sunset we have to get going earlier. This is a completely independant ride, everyone is welcome.
Some scooterists are talking about sporadic weekday rides, possibly Wednesday evenings, and occasional Saturdays (for example, every other Wednesday and every other Saturday, or maybe one a month,) so stay tuned, and if you want to helo get these going drop us a line
"Strange Cargo" Saturday Nights, 10pm at Barmacy on East 14th Street (Between A & B?). An eclectic mix of Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Blues, Mod Rock and more! Free! It sort of trends towards New Wave and Eighties after 1pm.
Saturday Night: 'Tis Was at Don Hills on Greenwich St. @ Spring St. (sorry, no other details)
Sunday at 13 on University Place @ 13th St (sorry, no other details)
Well Sussed at the Raven Cafe on Avenue A at 12th Street, every Tuesday Night 10pm. The Brown Hornet Spins 60s souls and Mod!
